Top Ten Eleven Books I've Read So Far in 2013

A weekly meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish, we answer the weekly prompt then visit others who have as well. Come have fun with us, meet new friends and discover new-to-you blogs!

This is a great prompt this week! I love participating in this weekly feature when time permits and this is one of my favorite questions because I can highlight titles that have stood thus far in the first half of the year!

This list has been complied by the ones that immediately jumped into my mind. I used GoodReads Challenge list to help me to compile them into date order. The titles listed below are in order of reading--January through June.

1) Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins, completed on January 8
2) One Good Earl Deserves a Lover by Sarah MacLean, completed on February 6
3) Things I Can't Forget by Miranda Kenneally, completed on March 3

Top Ten Tuesday: Summer Reading List

Hosted by The Broke and the Bookish, join in the fun by answering the posted prompt.

This week our prompt is the Top Ten Books on Our Summer TBR List. I have to say, I have not thought terribly hard about what I am going to be reading this summer honestly. I used to whenever I was wrapping up a semester of grad school, college, high school and younger but now as an adult, I guess summer is for the most part like any other time of the year for me. The exception being that I get to spend more time with my daughter as we do let her stay up a little later during the summer than during the school year. :)

To me, summer reading is the optimum time for lighthearted reads usually. I think this summer though, I will be looking towards catching up on books I have purchased that I have not read. With that in mind, here is the list I believe I will be reading this summer:

1) Dark Triumph by R. L. LaFevers
2) Sweet Peril by Wendy Higgins
3) The Elite by Kiera Cass

Book Blogger Confessions: BEA and ALA

"Book Blogger Confessions is a meme that posts the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month, where book bloggers "confess" and vent about topics that are unique to us. Feel free to share, vent and offer solutions. Just keep it respectful - no bashing authors or other bloggers! If you want to participate just grab our button and include it in your post with a link to either Midnyte Reader or For What It's Worth."

BEA, ALA. Have you ever been before? If you've been before, share your experiences; both pro & con. If you haven't gone before, do you participate in online events like Armchair BEA? Do you hope to go one day? Do you feel too intimidated to go? Are you jealous of the big book hauls and tweets during the events?

June 3rd - Does participating in book tours/cover reveals and author guests post drive traffic to your blog? What type of problems have you encountered when hosting them? (please keep it civil - no names or calling specific people out) As a blog follower, are you ever turned off by these kinds of posts? How much publicity is too much?

Feature and Follow #6

A Weekly Feature by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read--come join us as we learn about our fellow bloggers by answering a weekly question.

Goodness, what a topic this week: What series have I broken up With?

I have to say I generally enjoy reading series but there are times when I am just not in the mood for them. Right now, I have several series I want to try my hand at reading but have not yet because of my already massive TBR list:
