Top Ten Tuesday: Sequels!

A weekly meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish, we answer the weekly prompt then visit others who have as well. Come have fun with us, meet new friends and discover new-to-you blogs and books!

I love a standalone book but I admit I am a series lover too. There are times when I just do not want to let the characters go and still want to live vicariously in their world. Here are sequels that are standing out in mind as being favorites:

1) Dreamless by Josephine Angelini

2) Hallowed by Cynthia Hand

3) Belladonna By Fiona Paul

4) Sweet Peril by Wendy Higgins

5) Betraying Season by Marissa Doyle

6) Underworld by Meg Cabot

7) Erased by Jennifer Rush

8) Pretties by Scott Westerfeld

9) Stealing Parker by Miranda Kenneally

10) The Taming of Ryder Cavanaugh by Stephanie Laurens

Be sure to let me know which are your favorite sequels I did not name above. Also, if you leave me your link I will be sure to come visit your Top Ten. :)

  1. I've not read the Starcrossed series yet. I see it and think the cover is pretty but have never actually picked it up. I need to add it to the TBR list. Great list :-)

  2. Pretties and Hallowed were great. I still need to finish that Unearthly series. I really miss the whole world of Uglies/Pretties. I don't reread often, but I think I might pick that one up again. I'm going to read Stealing Parker (maybe soon).

  3. I haven't actually read any of these books (or series) on your list! I do own a couple of them though, so I'll have to get to them soon so I can read their sequels, haha.
