Making Progress on Series: 21 Series in 2021 (Unhaul Project)

On Saturday this past weekend, I posted my bookish confession: I own a lot of unread books. I know it is probably not an earth shattering confession--many bookish people--bloggers, bookstagrammers, and BookTubers can all relate. On Sunday, I gave you my 21 Books for 2021: These Books will Shelf Destruct, the first part of my plan to get my bookcases and owned TBR under control this year. I am back today with with the second part of how I plan on meeting  2021 plan/goal/resolution of getting my owned TBR/bookcases under control is by tackling some of my outstanding series. Surely I am not alone in not finishing series or having many other series I want to start, only to not to pick them up--despite them sitting on my bookcase.

Since I am trying hard to get my bookcases under control this year, I counted out 21 series I would like to make progress on this year. I am not doing a penalty with them as I am with my 21 Books in 2021, though if by the end of June I may have to institute some type of penalty if I am not making progress. I have it on my radar to do a midyear goals check in so I will take some time to check in with all of them, and make adjustments as appropriate.

Clicking on the photos will take you to the GoodReads page for the book shown, then you navigate to the series outline. Under the cover image lineup, I list the series name and in parenthesis, I give any relevant notes. I will continue to make notes as needed.

These are all books I have on my shelves so I would love your input. Which of these do you love and recommend I bump up to the top of my list? Please keep in mind, these are not in any specific order--just how I pulled them off my bookcases, then up on one specific shelf. Which one(s) do you recommend I skip? I look forward to chatting with you in the comments!

  1. I'm in the middle of I think 48 or 49 series right now and my goal is to finish 10 this year. I only have 2 of the same series on my list (Origin and Cursebreakers). I think I say Cursebreakers to the top of the list because I'm working on book 2 right now and it's really enjoyable. Fast-paced and dramatic!
