Swoon Worthy Books: A Top Ten Tuesday Post

With Valentine's Day right around the corner, perhaps you are in the mood to celebrate with someone you love or maybe you are in the mind frame of avoiding the holiday as much as you much as you can. I mean, how ridiculous is that we are bombarded with holiday decorations before Halloween is over then Valentine's stuff before the holiday's have been packed away? I know I for one, am a little annoyed with the stores.

Despite all the stores' shenanigans, I for one, still love a great story that make me want to sigh and swoon. The reasons for this may vary...perhaps it is because of the very sweet love story, the beautifully written novel or perhaps that the characters have overcame what feels like insurmountable odds to be together in the end.

(Are you familiar with Reign?)

My reading interests are varied and diverse--and usually depends on my mood and stress level unless I have deadlines or projects upcoming. :) Thinking about books that make me swoon, I wrote down books that popped into mind. I also grouped them by Young Adult, New Adult and Adult books for organizational purposes because that's the type of mood I am in today. ;-) Clicking the titles will take you to GoodReads so you can add them to your TBR list if you so desire or so you can learn more about them if they are new to you.

Young Adult Titles:

Grave Mercy by Robin LaFevers
Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry
Sweet Peril by Wendy Higgins
Pivot Point by Kasie West
Run to You series by Clara Kensie

New Adults Titles:

Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
Draw Me In by Megan Squires
Finding It by Cora Carmack
Sweet by Erin McCarthy
Definitely, Maybe in Love by Ophelia London

Adult Titles:

Devil's Bride by Stephanie Laurens
The Perfect Play by Jaci Burton
A Royal Pain by Megan Mulry
Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake and One Good Earl Deserves a Lover...Pretty much anything by Sarah MacLean

I completely blew past the requisite ten but I limited it to five within each heading at least. :-D What titles are standouts for you? Be sure to leave me a link to your post or your recommendations in the comments so I can add them to my TBR pile if I have not read them. I am always on the lookout for swoon-worthy reads!

  2. Yay. I've read all the adult titles. :D

I think this might be the only place where I've read all titles in at least one section.

    1. :) it is so rare for reading all the titles on TTT lists for me too. These lists are deadly to my TBR piles because of that.

  3. Great list! Top Ten Rules For Romancing a Rake is on my TBR list. I'll have to check out the others in your adult titles list - I'm a sucker for historical romance! :-)
